ANMEC has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our team – where teamwork, support and excellent customer service drive your success.

About the Role:

The Administration Officer will provide essential support within the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC) team, contributing across all programs. This role combines student administration, course coordination, program delivery support and compliance tasks, making it a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing multiple priorities.

The Administration Officer will provide professional and customer-focused reception and concierge services, ensuring a positive experience for students, members, visitors and staff. Support the day-to-day operation of reception by assisting visitors, processing receipting and mail services, and undertaking routine administrative and facility support tasks. Ensuring continuity of concierge services by providing relief coverage during breaks, leave and other absences.

Success in this role calls for excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Work directly with Course Administrators during peak period, including the commencement of new VET for Schools cohorts at the start of the school year and the onboarding of new Sterilisation and Nursing groups.
- Maintain student academic files in accordance with set standards, including support of audit processes
- Assisting with the initial assessment of prospective students' literacy, language and numeracy (LLN) support needs.
- Collate and prepare training materials as required and according to established procedures
- Prepare and collate training and learning materials in line with established procedures and timelines.
- Support the Business Administrator in managing enrolment variations, including student deferral and withdrawal processes.
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of student parchments, academic transcripts and enrolment correspondence.
- Collaborate with concierge staff to deliver a high standard of customer service to students, visitors and colleagues.
- Provide concierge support as required, including face-to-face, telephone and mail-based services, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally, consistently and in a timely manner.
- Accurately maintain data across a range of registers and databases to support compliance requirements and meet ANMEC regulatory obligations.

About You: We are seeking a passionate and vibrant individual who has:

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry, record management and document preparation.




- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, exercise initiative and consistently meet deadlines.
- Practical experience using student management systems such as VETtrak (or similar), with strong database management and reporting capabilities.
- Well-developed computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver high-quality customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach, combined with the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Hold a current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) or have the ability to obtain one.

The Administration Officer position is offered as a ASO2 classification range, in accordance with the ANMF (SA Branch) Employees Agreement. This role is offered as a permanent position, with a minimum requirement of 4 days per week (32 hours p/wk). Adaptable work arrangements, including the option for either part-time or full-time hours are negotiable for the successful candidate.
