Machine Operator – Afternoon Shift

One Group Labour Hire is currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to join our client's production team on the afternoon shift.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work and wants to build their experience within a modern manufacturing environment.

The Role

Working predominantly independently, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring a production line, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor production machinery throughout the shift

- Complete basic equipment and quality checks

- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues

- Report faults, breakdowns or maintenance requirements

- Complete production, batch and cleaning records accurately

- Monitor production output and identify quality issues

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area

- Follow all workplace health, safety and food safety procedures





- Complete clear and accurate shift handovers

- Follow SOPs and production procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in food manufacturing, production or machine operation

- Reliable and punctual

- Comfortable working independently

- Hands-on and mechanically minded

- Safety-focused with a strong attention to detail

- Committed to quality and following procedures

- Able to identify issues and communicate them effectively

- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
