- $40.49 - $43.42 per hour + 25% Casual Loading + Superannuation

We're seeking Casual AOD Support Workers to join our team at Binbi Yadubay Residential Treatment Service, located just outside Rockhampton.
Binbi Yadubay, meaning Healthy Beginnings, provides residential withdrawal and rehabilitation services for adults experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges across Central Queensland.
You'll play an important role in supporting residents participating in our six-week residential treatment program, helping them build confidence, navigate recovery and work towards a healthier future.
We're looking for team members who can provide flexibility across a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends and sleepovers.
About the Role
As an AOD Support Worker, you'll:
- Support residents throughout their recovery journey.
- Assist with admissions, discharges and daily activities.
- Support group activities and community outings.
- Maintain accurate client notes and handovers.
- Help create a safe, welcoming and recovery-focused environment.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
About You You are compassionate, reliable and committed to helping people achieve positive change.
You'll bring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A non-judgemental and person-centred approach.
- Emotional maturity and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Strong qualified boundaries.
- Experience in, or a genuine interest in building a career within, the Alcohol and Other Drugs sector.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
- First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Hold, be working towards, or be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, Community Services or a related field.
- Availability to work weekends and sleepover shifts.
