We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong mechanical and SMP capability to lead ADENCO’s delivery of key packages on the Brockman Syncline 1 (BS1) development in the West Pilbara. The project includes primary crushing infrastructure, overland conveying systems, structural steel, piping, water infrastructure and non‑process facilities supporting mining operations.

This role is responsible for safe, efficient and commercially disciplined delivery of mechanical works, overseeing planning, execution, engineering coordination, construction performance and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead delivery of mechanical and SMP works including crusher installation, conveyor systems, transfer stations, structural steel and piping
- Oversee engineering, QA, ITPs, MDRs, technical queries and commissioning readiness
- Manage project controls including schedule, cost, forecasting and progress reporting
- Coordinate construction sequencing, resourcing and logistics in a remote FIFO environment
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure alignment with project milestones
- Lead Project Engineers, Supervisors, HSE Advisors and site teams to deliver protected, predictable outcomes




- Identify scope changes, manage variations and support commercial documentation
- Ensure compliance with ADENCO and Rio Tinto standards across all phases of delivery

Qualifications and Experience

- Extensive experience delivering mechanical and SMP packages on major mining or iron ore projects
- Strong background in materials handling infrastructure including crushers and conveyors
- Demonstrated capability leading multidisciplinary construction teams in remote FIFO environments
- Proven experience managing project controls and client relationships
- Ability to pass pre‑employment and mobilisation medicals and drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Australian C‑Class Manual Driver’s Licence

Skills and Knowledge

- Strong leadership capability with the ability to coordinate engineering, construction and commissioning teams
- High competency in project planning, scheduling and progress measurement • Strong understanding of hazardous materials, high‑risk activities and mechanical installation requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills • Experience with document control systems and safety management information systems

Desirable

- Experience delivering NPI, water infrastructure or roadworks packages
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Candy (RIB CCS)
- Previous experience within Rio Tinto operations or the Greater Brockman Hub
