About the role

We're always keen to hear from motivated apprentices — electrical or mechanical — who want to build their trade in a genuinely varied industrial setting. As an apprentice at Mobile Automation you'll work alongside experienced electricians, fitters and engineers across breakdowns, installations, control-cabinet builds, machine work and automation projects. It's hands-on from day one, with real mentoring and exposure to technology most apprentices never get near.

Key responsibilities

- Work under the guidance of qualified tradespeople on live industrial sites and in our workshop.

- Learn to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or mechanical systems.

- Assist with breakdowns, installations, preventative maintenance and project works.

- Follow safety protocols and develop safe working habits from the outset.

- Attend TAFE and complete all coursework and competencies on schedule.

- Bring a positive attitude, reliability and a genuine willingness to learn.

What you'll bring

Essential

- Enrolled in (or eligible to commence) an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.





- A strong work ethic, punctuality and willingness to get hands dirty.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

- A valid Australian driver's licence (or working towards one).

- Full Australian working rights.

Highly regarded

- Prior site or workshop experience, or pre-apprenticeship (Cert II).

- A demonstrated interest in automation, robotics or advanced manufacturing.
