What's on offer? The opportunity to kickstart your career as an Apprentice Security Technician, supporting our tradespeople, contractors and operators with performing skilled technical work. Sitting across a variety of task, this role will see you working in installation, maintenance, repair, modification and testing of cabling solutions for data, voice and security systems. With an apprenticeship at OSG, you will be put to the test, developing and enhancing your skillset along the way to secure a future in the security sector.

You will work with and learn from skilled Security Technicians across a broad spectrum of client sites. The team works on developing, installing, and servicing solutions for electronic security by integrating access control, intruder detection, and CCTV systems.

Perhaps you bring with you a background in electricals, and are looking to upskill with hands-on experience in the Security sector. Apprenticeship or upskill, we can be versatile on what we're offering. Perhaps you're from the construction sector but want to make the transition across to electrical Security, lets chat!

This role will also see you work with a variety of clients, from top tier security clearance businesses to the mum and pop shop down the way.



No matter the client, keeping them involved and informed at all stages is key, as is ensuring not only industry specific standards are adhered to, but client standards and practices as well.

What you'll bring

Familiar with getting stuck and growing your skillset, you will possess a keen interest in electrical/security. Maybe from an electrical background with some tools of the trade, or wanting to kickstart a career with an apprenticeship, you'll be looking to build a future for yourself.

- Valid and current driver’s license are essential – you’ll be hitting the roads to visit client sites.
- Valid State licences and clearances are a bonus but not essential
- Understanding of basic electrical/electronics – certification would be an advantage however not essential.
- A keen attitude to learn, grow and develop your career, your skillset and most importantly, yourself.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills (polite and presentable).
