The Engineering Company Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Boilermaker/Welder Apprentices at our Somerset branch.

As one of Tasmania’s established engineering and manufacturing companies, we offer apprentices the opportunity to develop valuable trade skills and gain practical, hands-on experience within a professional engineering and metal fabrication environment.

Applications are invited from motivated, reliable and hardworking individuals who have successfully completed Year 10, or who will have completed Year 10 by the end of 2026.





The successful applicants will have the chance to undertake a nationally recognised apprenticeship while working alongside experienced tradespeople and developing skills across a broad range of engineering and fabrication activities.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate:

- A genuine interest in engineering, metal fabrication and welding
- A strong willingness to learn and develop current skills
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
