Apprentice Boilermaker – Manufacturing Sydney | Full-Time Hours | Apprenticeship Opportunity | Immediate Start
TRS Resourcing is seeking a motivated Apprentice Boilermaker for one of our established clients within the manufacturing sector.
This chance would suit someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a genuine interest in welding and fabrication, and wants to develop a long-term career as a qualified tradesperson.
You will work alongside experienced tradespeople in a busy workshop environment, gaining practical exposure to fabrication, welding, assembly and general manufacturing processes.
Previous workshop experience is advantageous; however, we are primarily looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability and genuine commitment to completing their trade qualification.
What You'll Be Doing Under the guidance of experienced tradespeople, your duties and training will include:
- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
- Cutting, drilling and grinding
- Assisting with fabrication and assembly
- Learning to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Developing welding and fit-up techniques
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following workshop procedures and instructions
- Assisting qualified tradespeople with day-to-day production requirements
As your skills and experience develop, you will progressively take on more complex fabrication work and greater responsibility.
About You We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is genuinely interested in becoming a Trade Qualified Boilermaker
- Enjoys practical and hands-on work
- Has good mechanical aptitude
- Is willing to learn welding and fabrication techniques
- Can confidently use basic hand and power tools
- Is reliable and punctual
- Has good attention to detail
- Takes workplace safety seriously
- Can follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Has full Australian working rights
Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, welding, mechanical work or as a Trades Assistant would be highly regarded but is not essential. Candidates who have already commenced a Boilermaker or Fabrication apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply.
