Role Description The Area Sales and Promotions Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD. This position is responsible for driving regional sales performance, managing relationships with retail partners, and ensuring effective in-store merchandising and brand presentation.

Day-to-day activities include visiting key accounts, monitoring sales targets, coordinating promotional campaigns, organizing product demonstrations and events, and providing product training to store staff. The role also involves analyzing sales data, identifying growth opportunities, preparing regular reports for leadership, and collaborating with marketing to align local promotions with national brand strategies.



The manager is expected to represent Ascent Footwear professionally in the market, maintain solid customer and partner relationships, and uphold brand standards across the assigned area.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in area or regional sales management, preferably within footwear, apparel, or consumer goods.
- Strong skills in relationship management, account management, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to plan and execute promotional activities, in-store events, and merchandising initiatives.
- Competence in sales reporting, performance analysis, and the use of basic sales or CRM software.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple locations and priorities.
- Comfort with working on-site in retail environments and traveling regularly within the Brisbane, QLD area.
- Strong presentation and training skills to effectively educate retail staff on product features and benefits.
- Desirable: experience in field sales or territory management, knowledge of the footwear market, and a valid driver’s license.
- Desirable: certificate or degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
