Joining the ERP Support Organisation (ESO) as an Assistant Director – Service Delivery offers a rare chance to be at the forefront of one of Defence’s most significant transformation initiatives. The ESO is seeking a solid Security Operations Manager to work within an integrated team to plan and deliver reliable ERP Sustainment for Security services that meet Operational requirements and are to the required standard.
You will be part of a high-performing energised team driving innovation and continuous improvement, contributing to the strategic decision-making, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, with an opportunity to shape service delivery outcomes that impact Defence’s capabilities.
About our Team
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a key enabler of the One Defence reform agenda. ERP will standardise and integrate critical functions needed into a single SAP platform delivering a major capability uplift for Defence.
The ERP Support Organisation (ESO) with Defence Digital Group (DDG) is responsible for the coordination of ERP sustainment services across legacy applications and SAP capabilities. ESO adopts the DDG Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework for end-to-end ICT service integration and delivers integrated governance, operating model,
processes and structure in support of the ERP Operating Model.

- Be proficient in ITIL Service Management Lifecycle.

- Ability to analyse and understand business impacts.
- Expert at developing, managing and influencing large cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and managing competing priorities.
- Ensuring that service delivery is monitored effectively and that identified actions to maintain or improve levels of service are implemented.
- Diagnosing service delivery problems and initiates actions to maintain or improve levels of service.
- Govern effective strategies and protocols against security risks
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, and devising appropriate security measures.
- Ability to manage Security incidents and User Access management Services through Service Providers and initiate actions to maintain or improve levels of service.
- Ability to communicate with influence across a broad range of stakeholders inclusive of Senior Leadership Group, stakeholders internal and external.
