Warners Bay Private Hospital is now hiring! Warners Bay Private Hospital offers residents of Newcastle and beyond a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, rehabilitation and mental health services.

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Assistant's in Nursing to become integral member of our Rehabilitation Ward on a casual basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering patient-centred care in a fast-paced acute hospital environment. The successful candidates will be caring, reliable, and passionate about patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and patient observations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive ward environment
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Accurately document care and communicate changes in patient condition

About You

- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or be currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year Registered Nursing student
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs
- Commitment to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster

Remuneration On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $28.92 - $31.74 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery gr1-gr4)
