We are recruiting an Assistant Property Manager to join a growing residential property team. This is an excellent chance for someone with some exposure to property, leasing, real estate or customer service who is ready to develop their skills and take on greater responsibility. Working closely with experienced property professionals, you will support the day-to-day management of a residential community while learning every aspect of property management.

You’ll be joining an environment where service matters, ideas are encouraged and there is genuine scope to develop into a Property Manager role as your experience grows.

What you’ll be doing No two days will be exactly the same. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Property Management team with day-to-day portfolio administration
- Responding to resident enquiries and providing friendly, professional service
- Assisting with property inspections, ingoing reports and outgoing condition reports
- Coordinating maintenance requests and following up with residents and contractors
- Supporting move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals and general tenancy administration
- Preparing notices, correspondence and property documentation
- Maintaining accurate tenancy records and updating the property management system
- Assisting with arrears monitoring and rental account enquiries
- Helping ensure properties and shared areas are presented to a high standard
- Building positive relationships with residents, contractors and internal teams




- Supporting community activities and initiatives where required
- Learning the relevant legislation, compliance requirements and best-practice property management processes

About you You don’t need to know everything from day one. What matters most is that you are motivated, organised and genuinely interested in developing a long-term career in property.

You will ideally bring

- A Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, or be currently studying towards the qualification
- Some experience in property, real estate, leasing, administration, hospitality or customer service
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a wide range of people
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- The ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion
- A calm, skilled approach when handling enquiries or resolving problems
- Confidence using technology and learning new systems
- A genuine interest in residential property and creating a positive experience for residents

Previous property management experience would be an advantage, but this role could also suit someone working in real estate administration, leasing or customer service who is ready to step up. Why apply?
