We're seeking an Assistant Strata Manager to work alongside experienced Strata Managers, supporting the day-to-day management of strata and community schemes while developing the skills and knowledge to progress within the industry.

About the Role

This is a development-focused position providing hands-on experience, structured mentoring and progressively greater responsibility. You won't be expected to manage a portfolio independently from day one. You'll work closely with experienced Strata Managers and take on greater responsibility as your knowledge, confidence and qualifications develop.

Responsibilities include

- Assisting Strata Managers with the day-to-day administration of strata and community schemes.
- Responding to owner, committee and contractor enquiries.
- Assisting with maintenance requests, quotations and authorised work orders.
- Supporting meeting preparation, correspondence and follow-up actions.
- Maintaining accurate records and information within company systems.
- Supporting compliance, insurance and legislative administration under the guidance of licensed Strata Managers.
- Liaising with contractors, owners, committee members and other stakeholders.
- Helping ensure enquiries, maintenance matters and agreed actions are followed through promptly and professionally.

You don't need to know everything about strata from day one, but you do need to be curious, dependable and willing to learn.

Skills & Qualifications

The following are advantageous but not essential:
- Strong digital capability, including advanced Microsoft 365 skills, confidence working across multiple business systems, and the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology and workflows.
- Experience in strata management, property management, administration, customer service, legal support or a similar professional workplace.
- A current NSW Certificate of Registration in strata management or Class 2 Strata Managing Agent Licence, or willingness and eligibility to obtain the appropriate registration.
- Certificate IV in Strata Community Management completed, underway or willingness to undertake as part of your professional development.
