ABOUT THE ROLE
This role brings it all together.
We are searching for an experienced Sales and Brand Manager who wants genuine ownership of an established streetwear brand in Australia.
You will be responsible for the brand's complete commercial performance, including wholesale, direct-to-consumer sales, product, marketing, eCommerce and production.
This is not a marketing role with a broader title. It is a senior commercial brand role for someone who has already performed this function within fashion or apparel and is ready to be accountable for sales, margin, profitability and growth.
If you have wanted the chance to run a brand like it is your own, this is it.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Reporting directly to the President of the Australian business, you will own the brand’s financial performance, market position and future growth.
You will:
Build and deliver the strategic plan for the brand in Australia
Drive wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales
Own sales, margin and EBIT performance
Identify consumer trends, market gaps and growth opportunities
Turn brand strategy into product and go-to-market plans
Oversee products through design, sourcing, testing and launch
Make commercial decisions around pricing, target margins and minimum order quantities
Lead new and ongoing marketing initiatives
Create campaign briefs and participate in the production process
Assess campaign performance against KPIs and return on investment
Guide eCommerce priorities, including website design, functionality and conversion
Work across design, marketing, eCommerce and production to deliver a consistent result
Keep the brand culturally relevant, commercially strong and moving forward
WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR
You are already working in fashion, apparel or streetwear and understand how to manage a brand as a complete commercial operation.
You may currently be a:
Sales and Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager / Brand and Product Manager / Product and Brand Manager / Category Manager / Head of Brand / Brand Director
Your career may have started in product, apparel design, marketing, digital or eCommerce. What matters is that you have progressed beyond one discipline and have already taken meaningful responsibility for a fashion or apparel brand.
You understand the customer, but you also understand the numbers. You know how to protect what makes a brand distinctive while finding practical ways to grow it.
You can guide creative people without suffocating the work. You can make product decisions with commercial discipline. You can identify an opportunity and follow it through to a measurable result.
WHAT YOU MUST BRING
At least three years of relevant brand management experience
Previous experience performing this function within fashion or apparel
Commercial accountability for sales, margin, profitability or P&L; performance
Experience developing physical products from concept through to market
Strong understanding of product, pricing, distribution and go-to-market strategy
Experience across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels
Working knowledge of eCommerce and digital performance
Experience guiding design, marketing, eCommerce and production teams
Strong instincts for culture, consumers and emerging market opportunities
The confidence to make decisions and be accountable for the outcome
WHY THIS ROLE
You will not be sitting on the edge of the business making recommendations.
You will be in the middle of it, shaping the product, directing the brand and driving the commercial result.
The role offers a senior remuneration package, performance bonus, phone, laptop and company expense card.
There is also genuine room to grow. Perform well, and you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for additional brands, with corresponding career and remuneration progression.
If you want a safe role with a narrow lane, this probably is not it.
If you want ownership, influence and the opportunity to prove you can build both a brand and a business, we want to hear from you.
