This role is the driving force behind a diverse range of fabrication projects—overseeing planning, procurement, timelines, and quality control, while ensuring seamless communication between clients, production teams, and suppliers. In addition to managing project delivery, the Project Manager plays a key role in strengthening client relationships, enhancing the company's reputation, and contributing to new business opportunities. A professional and solutions-focused approach to client engagement is essential, with the aim of securing repeat business and building long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

- Lead project delivery: Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple fabrication projects from start to finish.
- Manage resources: Oversee budgets, schedules, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder communication: Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams as the central point of contact.
- Risk & compliance: Monitor project risks, costs, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Business development: Build client relationships, provide technical support, and contribute to securing repeat business.
- Team leadership: Support and mentor team members while role-modelling company values and WHS standards.

About you





- At least 2-3 years of project management experience within fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries.
- Degree-qualified in project management, engineering, or a related field (highly regarded).
- Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly regarded.
- Proficient in project scheduling tools like MS Project and Excel.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials, industry standards, and technical drawings.
- Valid Class C Driver's licence is essential, as you will travel to different locations to oversee project requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, financial acumen, time management, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
