Help us build, grow and develop our new MRI service

CareWell Diagnostix is seeking an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer / Clinical Educator to join our growing diagnostic imaging team in a permanent full-time position.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer who is passionate about clinical excellence, exceptional patient care and teaching and developing other radiographers .

With our new MRI service commencing soon, you will have the opportunity to join CareWell ahead of launch, become familiar with our team and systems, and play an important role in establishing and developing the MRI service from the beginning.

The Role

Your primary area of expertise and responsibility will be MRI , including:

- Performing high-quality MRI examinations across a broad range of clinical indications
- Supporting the establishment and development of our new MRI service
- Assisting with the development and optimisation of MRI protocols and workflows
- Maintaining high standards of MRI safety, screening and patient care
- Teaching, mentoring and supporting radiographers developing their MRI skills
- Promoting a strong culture of clinical quality, safety and continuous learning
- Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Radiographers and the broader clinical team
- As part of our multidisciplinary imaging environment, there may also be opportunities to work across CT, general X-ray and DEXA , depending on your qualifications, experience and competency.

CT and general X-ray experience are highly regarded but are not essential for an experienced MRI candidate.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
- Appropriate Victorian registration/licensing where required for the duties performed
- Strong clinical experience in MRI




- Comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety and patient screening
- Confidence working independently within MRI
- A genuine interest in teaching, mentoring and developing other radiographers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient-centred approach to clinical care
- A collaborative, flexible and positive approach to working within a growing imaging service
- Experience in CT, general X-ray or DEXA will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Educator, Tutor or Senior Radiographer would also be highly regarded; however, experienced MRI Radiographers with a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring are strongly encouraged to apply.
