Associate Director, High Growth Corporate Banking Portfolio A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Associate Director / Senior Relationship Manager to join its high-performing Corporate Banking team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of established and high-growth corporate clients across a diverse range of industries. Working with businesses typically generating banking exposures between $10 million and $100 million, you will provide strategic banking solutions while helping clients navigate growth, investment, acquisition and working capital opportunities.

The successful candidate will inherit an attractive portfolio within a high-growth patch and play a key role in driving both client outcomes and portfolio expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and deepen relationships with a portfolio of high-growth corporate clients.
- Identify opportunities to deliver tailored banking solutions across lending, transaction banking, treasury and broader corporate banking products.
- Develop and execute client relationship strategies to support portfolio growth and retention.
- Structure and originate debt solutions to meet client funding requirements.
- Partner with internal product specialists and credit teams to deliver integrated client outcomes.
- Maintain a strong risk culture through proactive portfolio management and credit stewardship.
- Build relationships with business owners, CEOs, CFOs and key decision-makers.
- Drive new-to-bank acquisition opportunities within the target market segment.




- Prepare and present high-quality credit submissions and deal recommendations.

About You You will be a relationship-focused corporate banker with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to build trusted client relationships.

Key Experience

- Experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Institutional Banking or Business Banking.
- Demonstrated portfolio management and business development capability.
- Solid credit analysis and structuring skills.
- Experience managing corporate clients with exposures ranging from approximately $10 million to $100 million.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives and business owners.
- Strong stakeholder management and deal execution capability.
- Proven ability to identify and originate lending and broader banking opportunities.
