Swan Service Centre is a Mechanical business set up to assist with our major Businesses (Swan Hire WA, Pavement Technology and Swan Traffic Management) Swan Hire WA has a number of Wirtgen Stabilisers, Water Carts and Prime movers, Rollers ect and Swan Traffic has over 70 vehicles in Western Australia Our business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road and Mining industry's throughout the Western Australia and is a Authorised Inspection Station (AIS) for the department of transport in Kunnunurra
Our goal is to open a AIS branch at our karratha depot and asset with our internal fleet Management
This is a fantastic career opportunity is now available for a qualified and experienced Automotive Mechanic / heavy vehicle mechanic working locally in Karratha
You will be responsible for Vehicle inspections, minor mechanical repairs maintaining our fleet, including but not limited to Construction Equipment and Light Vehicles.
You will be required to do some minor callouts with our internal fleet
What you'll bring
- A strong commitment to safety
- Trade Qualified - Automotive trade qualification
- Knowledge and experience with Light vehicles, mobile equipment and trucks
- Demonstrated abilities with electrical fault finding and hydraulic systems
- A strong 'team player' with the proven ability to work efficiently with others
- Australian Drives license C class but Prefer HR
