Pickering Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our growing workshop team.

This position is suited to a technician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities who is confident working with modern vehicle systems, electronics and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Use specialist diagnostic equipment and scan tools
- Interpret diagnostic results and identify the cause of faults
- Carry out testing and inspections
- Complete repairs and technical work to a high standard
- Assist other technicians with complex diagnostic issues
- Follow manufacturer procedures and technical specifications
- Document diagnostic findings and completed work
- Identify additional issues requiring attention
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop
- Work closely with the workshop and service teams

About You




- Qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic
- Proven experience in automotive diagnostics
- Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge
- Experience with modern vehicle diagnostic systems
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Able to interpret diagnostic information accurately
- Robust attention to detail
- Reliable and professional
- Able to work independently and support other technicians
- Current Australian driver's licence
