Responsibilities

- Deliver high quality software that is thoroughly tested and optimized

- Build automated software solutions from requirements when we have them, or help architect solutions if we don't.

- Create data pipelines using Kafka streaming

- Provide maintenance and enhancements to the existing code base.





- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and tool chain

- Support our test team to build automated testing and delivery.

- Rapid learning and willingness to work with technologies and languages you are or are not familiar with

- Understanding of security policies and restrictions that apply to Tier One and creating solutions that comply with these rules

Requirements

- Bachelors degree

- 8+ Years of professional experience

- Experience in development using AWS including S3, IAM and EC2

- Postgresql

- Data streaming using Kafka

- Nice to have - Knowledge of Hadoop and related technologies including HDFS, Spark, Impala and Hive
- proactive and have great communication skills
- experienced in data modelling
