The Role

- Operate industrial bandsaws to cut steel to required specifications
- Measure and prepare material for cutting
- Load and unload steel using overhead cranes
- Forklift operation
- Handle and process steel products
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Manual handling
- Maintain a safe and organised work area

What You'll Need





- Bandsaw or similar machine operating experience highly regarded
- Experience using overhead cranes
- Forklift experience
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Steel, manufacturing, mining or industrial experience highly regarded

Candidates without steel industry experience will still be considered if you have previous machine operating or warehousing experience and good mechanical aptitude.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Ability to complete a National Police Check

Hours

Day Shift

- 6:00am - 2:00pm

Afternoon Shift
- 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Approximately 2 weeks of initial training on day shift
