Point Hotel has been completely transformed, and we're entering an exciting new chapter.

At the heart of that transformation is Aira, our brand-new rooftop bar, alongside our established KIN Bar & Dining and a growing calendar of functions and events.

We're looking for an experienced Bars Manager to lead our beverage operations across the hotel and play a key role in shaping what comes next.

This is much more than managing a bar. It's an opportunity to build a beverage culture, develop exceptional drinks experiences, lead a passionate team and help establish Point Hotel as one of Brisbane's most exciting new hospitality destinations.

You'll be responsible for:

- Leading the beverage operation across Aira, hotel functions and events, while working collaboratively with KIN
- Developing and evolving our beverage offering, with a strong focus on cocktails, spirits, wine and premium drinks
- Establishing Aira's beverage identity and helping make it one of Brisbane's must-visit rooftop destinations
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the Aira bar team and supporting beverage standards across the hotel
- Driving beverage quality, consistency, and exceptional service standards
- Managing beverage cost, stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Driving revenue and commercial performance
- Overseeing beverage requirements for functions, events and activations
- Working closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to create cohesive guest experiences
- Identifying current opportunities to grow the hotel's beverage offering and reputation

You'll bring:

- Proven experience managing a bar or multiple beverage operations, preferably within a hotel,



premium or high-volume hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and current beverage trends
- Strong understanding of beverage menu development, cocktail programs, and emerging drinks trends
- A creative approach to developing drinks and memorable beverage experiences
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Commercial acumen and an understanding of beverage cost and profitability
- Experience with functions and events
- A hands-on, energetic approach to hospitality
- The confidence to lead teams and build strong relationships across the hotel
- A genuine desire to create something special
- Minimum Certificate IV in Hospitality, with a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management desirable
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) and Approved Manager's Licence
