EXPERIENCED BARTENDER - PORTABELLA RESTAURANT & BAR

Portabella Restaurant & Bar is looking for a highly experienced and confident Bartender to join our team.

We are seeking someone who has strong bar knowledge, excellent customer service skills and can confidently manage a busy restaurant bar while maintaining a high standard of service.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a bartender in a busy restaurant, bar or hospitality venue
- Robust knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer
- Excellent cocktail-making and presentation skills
- Experience opening, closing and maintaining a bar
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A professional, friendly and positive attitude
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organisation and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current RSA certificate – essential

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine,



beer and other beverages to a high standard
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests
- Maintain bar cleanliness, presentation and stock levels
- Assist with ordering, stock control and bar preparation
- Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements
- Support the restaurant team during busy service
