The Opportunity
As a Biotech Manufacturing Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing team, supporting the production of life-saving therapies in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will perform a variety of manufacturing, processing, cleaning, and operational activities while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with GMP requirements. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a commitment to operational excellence, and the flexibility to work across multiple manufacturing processes and tasks.

The Role
- Ensure compliance with CSL policies, the Code of Responsible Business Practice, Global Quality Manual, cGMP/cGxP requirements, and applicable regulatory standards, including PIC/S and FDA guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, sanitation, contamination control, and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in manufacturing environments.
- Accurately complete manufacturing documentation and records in accordance with CSL procedures and data integrity requirements.
- Perform manufacturing operations, including chemical weighing, process solution preparation, mixer operation, and filtration activities.
- Conduct equipment-related activities, including inspection of single-use systems, line clearances, equipment cleaning, and Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) operations.
- Follow approved manufacturing procedures and work instructions to ensure product quality, process consistency, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E;) policies, Occupational Health & Safety requirements, and site safety standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility and accountability by following all company policies, procedures, guidelines, and operational requirements to support manufacturing objectives.
To be successful
- Minimum VCE qualification and/or relevant experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated production setting.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work across multiple manufacturing areas and flexible hours when required.
- Developing technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, product streams, and relevant business systems (e.g. BPCS, SampleManager, and Microsoft Office applications).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly develop a sound understanding of operational processes and production activities.
