SITE BOILERMAKER | MACKAY & BOWEN BASIN

Steelarc Engineering is growing, and as Steelarc Engineering and Extreme Excavators unite to form the powerhouse EXS Services, we’re looking for qualified Boilermakers to join our expanding site team. With ongoing work across the Mackay and Bowen Basin regions, we have full-time hours available, commencing on a casual basis with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

THE ROLE

This is a DIDO site-based opportunity, with work across a range of projects and maintenance activities, including:

- Fixed and mobile plant maintenance and repairs
- Wash plant maintenance
- Equipment rebuilds and structural repairs
- General site fabrication, welding and repairs
- Project and maintenance work across various sites

RECENT TO INDUSTRY, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU

Already a qualified Boilermaker but haven’t had the opportunity to gain site or mining experience yet? Site experience is not essential.

We’re open to qualified Boilermakers who are new to industry and looking for an opportunity to gain site experience and build their career.

WHAT YOU BRING

Essential:

- Boilermaker trade qualification / Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work DIDO rosters from the Mackay region

Highly regarded but not essential:

- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights




- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Glencore Level 2 Weld Qualification
- Current ISO Welding Certifications
