Position : BMI Analyst

Location: Sydney

Job Type: Contract Role

Essential Functions of The Job

We are looking for BMI Analyst for a contract of 6 months role based out of Sydney

Qualifications Basic

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Skills and Responsibilities The Analyst is a key member of the Finance Excellence Team, the heartbeat of business partnering and performance management as per the Future Finance Vision. As such the Analyst will be responsible for performance managing end to end the BMI.

- Process Skills

- Understanding of Brand and Marketing P&L;

- Actual vs Forecast analysis

- Annual BMI planning and consolidation

- Zero based Budgeting (ZBB) in Marketing

Technical Skills

- Advanced Excel, SAP & SAP Business Warehouse

- Analytics Skills

- Analysis at Brand level to assist in optimizing spend

- Insights to Brand Managers / categories FP&A; related to BMI

- Actual to Forecast variance analysis

- Investigation on category drivers to explain BMI performance variances

- Partner Management

- Alignment on forecast with Business Unit partners to identify cost savings and regional reporting.

- Risk & Opportunities identification.

- Co-ordinating with internal partners.





- Support Category management by providing insights on forecast.

- Partner the marketing teams in optimising the spending through ROMI analysis and look for simplification and efficiencies in the BMI processes whilst improving the quality of what we deliver to our partners.

Minimum qualifications

- Solid FP&A; and analysis skills

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Commerce

- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)

- Working experience in Client/ FMCG

- Advanced skills with Excel, SAP or other ERP systems

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to maintain professional credibility and the respect of business partners and senior management.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight timelines whilst also maintaining a client-focused approach.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in FMCG business and FP&A; or Management Accounting.

- Eagerness, extra energy & dedication to make a difference.

- Autonomous and Proactive.

- Problem Solving skills.

- Being curious and always thinking one step ahead.

- Owners approach on cost and growth.
