Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Senior Fleet Controller to coordinate fleet movements, manage driver activities and support the day-to‑day operation of our Townsville depot.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently coordinate a large volume of freight and driver movements.

What You'll Be Doing

- Coordinating daily fleet movements and driver activities
- Managing delivery schedules and route planning
- Acting as the key point of contact for drivers throughout the day
- Monitoring service performance and resolving operational issues
- Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and safety requirements
- Tracking operational performance and reporting metrics
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery

What You'll Need

- Previous Fleet Controller, Dispatch or Transport Operations experience




- Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and reporting capability
- Understanding of dangerous goods and transport compliance requirements
- Robust knowledge of Townsville and surrounding regions
