We are seeking an experienced and motivated Driver Trainer who aligns with TRG’s vision and values, and who supports continuous improvement across our driver team. This role is integral in maintaining safety, compliance and the TRG way.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver training in TRG procedures and policies
Identify and recommend improvements to support performance and efficiency
Ensure WHS policies are adhered to and promote driver safety at all times
Support managers with education following incident investigations
Conduct regular driver assessments to ensure compliance and professional standards
Ensure drivers meet induction and site compliance requirements
Conduct pre‑employment assessments for potential candidates
ABOUT YOU
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
with the ability to build positive working relationships
Strong written capability for work instructions and procedures
High accuracy and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and committed to supporting a positive workplace culture
Team‑focused and willing to support colleagues and the wider business
Ability to consult with drivers to identify root causes and provide practical guidance
Solutions‑focused, with strong computer capability (MS Office)
Physically fit and able to pass a Functional Capacity Evaluation and Drug & Alcohol screening
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Cert IV or Diploma in Workplace Training & Assessment
HC licence or above
Knowledge of HV mass management, fatigue management, load restraint and transport regulations
Experience in a similar training or compliance role
