Business Development Executive

Overview

Broadway Express is a fast-growing transport and logistics company specialising in

interstate freight solutions across Australia.

We’re looking for a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our Melbourne team and play a key role in generating new business opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, opening doors,

building relationships and developing a long-term career in sales and logistics.

The Opportunity

As part of the Broadway Express team, you’ll work closely with our team to identify

opportunities, build pipeline activity and develop relationships with prospective

customers across a range of industries.

This is a genuine growth opportunity for someone who is proactive, resilient and

motivated to succeed in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and engage prospective customers through outbound businessdevelopment activity, networking and relationship building
- Generate and qualify current business opportunities through self-generated leadactivity and relationship building
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Research target industries and commercial opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking




- Collaborate with the wider team to support business development initiatives

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in business development, sales, logistics or customer-facingcommercial roles
- Existing industry relationships and networks within transport, freight or logisticswill be viewed favourably
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence engaging with new people and developing opportunities
- Self-motivated, organised and commercially minded
- A proactive and resilient approach to business development
- Comfortable using CRM systems and technology platforms
- Current Australian driver’s license
