Senior Media Buyer/Account Manager - Media Planning, Buying, Strategy.

We're partnering with a leading Australian agency looking for an experienced Senior Media Buyer to take ownership of media planning, buying and campaign performance across a diverse portfolio of clients.

- Salary up to $110,000 + Super
- 4+ years' experience across media planning and buying

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As Senior Media Buyer, you'll take ownership of campaigns from initial planning and recommendations through to buying, optimisation, reporting and client delivery.

You'll work across a mix of media channels and be responsible for ensuring campaigns are strategically sound, commercially effective and delivered to a high standard.





- Develop and execute media plans and buying strategies across digital, paid social, print and out-of-home
- Own campaigns from briefing through to delivery, optimisation and reporting
- Develop media recommendations
- Manage media budgets
- Analyse campaign performance and provide transparent insights
- Monitor campaign tracking and measurement across relevant platforms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Manage campaign timelines, trafficking, creative delivery and media bookings
- Support and mentor more junior members of the media team

TO BE CONSIDERED...

We're looking for an experienced Media Buyer/Account Manager who is confident taking ownership of campaigns and building strong relationships with clients.

You’ll ideally have:

- 4+ years' experience in media planning and buying, ideally within an agency environment
- Strong understanding of both digital and traditional media channels
- Hands‑on experience across paid social, Google, print/press and out-of-home
- Experience managing media budgets
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn campaign data into actionable insights
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- Confidence developing media plans and presenting recommendations to clients
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be highly regarded
