Job Summary

Position : Business Analyst - AMK/KYC/Risk Control

Location : Sydney

Full Time: 6 Months contract with possibility of extension

Essential Functions Of The Job The Business Analyst - AMK/KYC/Risk Control requires to work on Financial Crime and Regulatory & Governance projects. The professional must have worked in an Agile environment and robust Stakeholder Management experience.

Qualifications Basic

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Required Skills and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

- Works with a team of Business analysts, Risk and compliance SMEs, and technical consultants to identify controls management requirements
- Develop a way to monitor and report on progress by all LOBs against VCM Framework requirements.
- Document BRD for any identified system gaps in JUNO, SIP or Holocentric.
- Engages the client (including Line 1 and Line 2 of defense) to embed and endorse the target state design and implementation plan
- Actively co-ordinates with the ERM technical team and stakeholders to implement the business requirements

Requirements

- Assess and evaluate the client's current state business policies, processes,



systems across the end-to-end value chain (including different lines of businesses)
- Understand the business issues, incidents, record breaches and evaluate risk and compliance impacts
- Conduct obligation assessments and record findings in the client's Enterprise risk management systems, in line with the client's Risk and compliance framework
- Identify shortcomings in the risk and compliance framework, policies and processes and provide and implement recommendations
- Facilitate client engagements for breach management actions, remediate obligations, track incident/ issue management progress and provide updates to client management
- Analyse existing and proposed controls and procedures and prepare recommendations where revisions, additional efficiencies are required
- Support in remediation activities of the client, where breaches identified
- Assist in implementing approved recommendations, issuing revised instructions and procedure manuals, and drafting other documentation
- Pre-emptively Client bigger problems, recommend solution options and deliver these solutions
- Co-ordinating BRD development activities & mentoring, leading junior business analysts
