Job Summary

Position : Business Analyst (Home Lending)

Location: Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane

Job Type: 6-12 Months Contract Role

Essential Functions of The Job

We are looking for Business Analyst (Home Lending) for a contract of 6-12 months contract role based out of Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane.

Qualifications Basic

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Skills and Responsibilities

- Minimum of 1-2 years Home lending industry experience is mandatory

- Experience in Line 1 or Line 2 risk functions is preferred

- 1-2+ years' experience as a Business Analyst is preferred

- Experience in a business facing Business Analyst role is preferred

- Previous experience working on system implementation projects is desirable

- Experience working on Agile or Lean projects is highly desirable

- Extensive stakeholder management and influencing experience.

- Business process analysis and mapping,



focusing on the current "As-Is processes and identifying and incorporating improvement opportunities and efficiency gains in the future "To-Be business process.

- Risk incident management from risk identification, investigation and through to closure of risk items as well as the ability to create future proofing/ risk mitigation controls solutions.

- High-level business analysis for input into business cases - facilitating workshops, assisting the business prioritise high level business requirements, recommending options and providing cost benefit analysis and solution options.

- Detailed business analysis to enable the creation of business requirements documents in accordance with the approved business case and with minimal supervision.

- Technical analysis for the creation of detailed functional specification documents and requirements.

- Developing effective relationships with the business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), eliciting requirements, analysing and presenting relevant information to ensure that key stakeholders have a common expectation of the quality, scope, cost and benefits of the preferred solution.

- Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats.





- High levels of initiative with ability to cope under pressure and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines; Responds to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work.

- Knowledge of system development life cycle and project management practices

- Knowledge of business process modelling and related tools.

- Knowledge of business analysis, quality assurance, and workflow tools and/or practices.

- A strong understanding of the Insurance industry and the Insurance business including business drivers and key business issues.

- Producing project documentation in alignment with required standards.

- Supporting a positive and proactive risk identification and management culture.

- Explicit story card elaboration to ensure delivery of required business outcomes.

- Under guidance, plan, estimate, and execute relatively simple projects
