Position : Business Analyst/ Data Analyst

Location: Sydney

Job Type: Contract Role

Essential Functions of The Job

We are looking for Business Analyst/ Data Analyst for a contract of 6 months role based out of Sydney

Qualifications Basic

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Skills and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Translate business requirements into conceptual and logical data requirements, ready for more detailed solution design
- Assist with data discovery including analysis of existing data and its fitness for purpose for business requirements
- Help data consumers define business rules to measure data quality




- Document requirements that reflect business needs and ensure data requirements are appropriately reviewed and signed-off
- Specify success criteria and test cases that clarify business requirements and form the basis for business acceptance and sign off on data delivery
- Familiarity with a broad range of products we handle
- Experience with SQL, VBA and other languages
- Curiosity is a must. Questioning requirements and Data to provide the best solution
- Experience with Jira and Confluence is a must
- Preferably you will have experience in Treasury and Group Reg Reporting projects
