Role Description This part-time Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role at SOLVE Chemistry™ is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements from internal stakeholders, mapping and improving business processes, and supporting analysis of operational and product-related data.

The Business

Analyst will assist in preparing reports and presentations that translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for teams such as product, operations, and commercial. Day-to-day tasks include conducting basic data analysis, supporting the design and testing of process improvements, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess foundational business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement,



and basic documentation of business needs.
- Candidates should possess explicit and professional communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Candidates should possess understanding of business processes and business requirements, including the ability to map workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Relevant skills such as proficiency in spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is an advantage).
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and take initiative in an entry-level setting.
- Education in business, economics, data science, engineering, or a related discipline (completed or in progress) is beneficial.
- Interest in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, or scientific technology sectors and willingness to learn about AI-driven laboratory solutions.
