We’re looking for a highly analytical, curious, detail-oriented, organised, and commercially minded Business Analyst to support business analysis, process improvement, reporting, requirements gathering, and data-driven decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing data, understanding business problems, improving processes, documenting requirements, identifying trends, and turning information into practical business recommendations.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Finance, Accounting, Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business Development, Customer Support, and Leadership teams to understand business requirements, improve processes, support projects, and help the organisation make better decisions.

? Key Responsibilities? Business Analysis

- Analyse business, operational, financial, customer, and performance data
- Identify trends, patterns, opportunities, inefficiencies, and potential risks
- Support management with data-driven insights and business recommendations
- Prepare business reports, dashboards, presentations, and analysis
- Monitor business performance against KPIs, targets, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct root-cause analysis to understand business and operational issues
- Translate data and business information into clear and actionable insights
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support business and management requirements
- Assist with business performance reviews and strategic analysis

? Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, problems, and objectives
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear and structured documentation
- Prepare business requirements documents, process maps, user stories, and functional requirements where required
- Identify gaps between current processes and desired business outcomes
- Clarify requirements and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders
- Support requirements prioritisation and change management
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle

? Process Improvement
- Review existing business processes, workflows, and operating procedures
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, duplication, and improvement opportunities
- Develop recommendations to improve productivity, service quality, cost efficiency, and customer experience
- Assist with the design and implementation of improved processes
- Create process maps, workflow diagrams, SOPs, and supporting documentation
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Monitor the results of process improvements and identify further opportunities
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

? Project Support
- Support business and technology projects from planning through implementation




- Work with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to track project requirements and deliverables
- Assist with project planning, documentation, testing, implementation, and reporting
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and help identify and document issues
- Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve business-related issues
- Track project actions, risks, dependencies, and outstanding requirements
- Prepare project updates, reports, presentations, and analysis as required

? Financial & Commercial Analysis
- Support analysis of revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and business performance
- Assist Finance teams with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting where required
- Analyse commercial and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Support business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and financial impact assessments
- Assist with scenario analysis and evaluation of new business initiatives
- Help identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth

? Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, and other teams
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly
- Support meetings, workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions
- Help bridge communication between business and technical teams
- Ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of requirements, findings, and proposed solutions

✅ Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior candidate with approximately 0–3+ years of experience
- Degree, diploma, or relevant education in Business, Business Analysis, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or a related field is an advantage
- Previous experience in business analysis, data analysis, finance, accounting, operations, administration, project coordination, customer service, technology, travel, tourism, or hospitality is a plus
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to understand business problems and identify practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to communicate analytical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, reports, and business documentation




- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, CRM systems, ERP systems, or business intelligence tools is advantageous
- Familiarity with business process mapping, requirements gathering, data analysis, or reporting is a plus
- Basic understanding of financial statements, business performance metrics, and commercial concepts is advantageous
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall is a plus
- Strong willingness to learn new systems, tools, and business processes
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote workplace
- Strong ethical standards and discretion when handling confidential business and customer information
- Based in Australia with the legal right to work in Australia
