About the role The Business Development and Account Manager (BDM) reports to the State Business Development Manager whilst working across the organisation to facilitate the identification and delivery of business development opportunities consistent with H3C PLUS's Target Market Sales Roadmap. The role consults, advises and provides Security Solutions for Commercial and Government clients focusing on integrated offerings including Access Control, Integrated solutions, Intrusion systems, Managed Services, and Video Surveillance.

Key responsibilities

- Achievement of sales targets given by the SBDM

- Works within target market seeking out recent contacts and arranging meetings with the SBDM

- Client liaison and relationship management

- Work meticulously with agreed end users, facility managers and consultants within the security industry

- Facilitate smooth transition of account management responsibilities to key relevant stakeholders; maintain a high-level relationship with the account and earn residuals after transition

- Ensure that all project specifications and guidelines are understood and adhered to at all times





- Attend and participate in all meetings as required

- Attends to the negotiation and renewal of all Planned Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PPMA) and other Managed Services offerings

- Pursue opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the SBDM and relevant members of the sales team

- Ensure timely and informative handover of all projects and jobs to the Project Team or Installations Scheduler

About you

- Two to five years' experience in a role with similar responsibilities

- Experience in end to end tendering

- Proficient knowledge in computer software systems - SimPro, Word, Excel, Outlook

- Knowledge of Security Equipment, CCTV, and Access control basics

- Knowledge of H3C PLUS processes, policies and procedures

- Management and supervisory skills

- Project Management of various sized projects

- Current Security Licence

- Current Driver's License

- Current WH&S; (White) card

- Supervisory and Time management skills
