We are looking for a experienced Business Development Manager to kick-start a new company coming to town!! Ideally looking for individuals who live in the N.T or close by for travel / rostered work if need be, as you will be on the road/phone for this exciting recent position. You will act as the primary revenue engine room of our business. It would be desirable that you have a background in Sales within the civil & mining industries.

About the Company

We don’t do corporate fluff, and we don’t offer excuses. This new exciting company is a independent, heavy-hitting Territory contractor delivering remote infrastructure, road maintenance, and bulk earthworks wet-hire packages up to $2M.

Our fleet (Mack Titan road trains, final-trim GPS graders, heavy compactors) is held securely by our asset division and backed 24/7 in the field by our integrated sister division. With an elite team of heavy diesel fitters and mobile field support baked directly into our DNA, we guarantee our clients maximum machine uptime and zero breakdown delays on site. We run a strictly 100% Wet Hire only model—our own gear, our own ticketed operators, and our own mechanical safety net.

The Role

This isn’t a desk job. You will pack a swag, jump in a wrapped 4x4 Land Cruiser, and build solid, face-to-face relationships with Tier-2 Prime Contractors and Regional Shire Councils across Katherine, Tennant Creek, and Alice Springs.



Your sole focus is hunting down wet-hire machinery loops, minor civil packages, and overflow contracts.

Your core duties will include:

- Face-to-Face Prospecting: Traveling regionally to pitch directly to project managers, operations directors, and council procurement teams
- Wet-Hire Pipeline Management: Sourcing and securing steady contracts loops for our graders, rollers, and side-tippers
- Client Relationship Retention: Positioning our sister divison as backup for the ultimate project safety net to win repeat business

- The Territory Hunter: A proven sales builder or relationship manager who thrives on regional travel and knows how to close deals over a handshake
- Independent Drive: You will operate as an independently often. If you push back on a performance-weighted structure, this isn't the role for you. We want a hunter who wants to run the highway and build an empire with us.
