About the role As Business Manager, Co-op Community Clinics, you will drive the operational success, sustainability and growth of Federation University's multidisciplinary teaching clinics. You will oversee business performance, governance, quality and service improvement, while strengthening partnerships that expand community impact and enhance student learning.
Working with academic and clinical leaders, you will identify business opportunities, develop partnerships, business cases and funding proposals, and implement systems that strengthen efficiency, consistency and long-term sustainability. You will also help grow community engagement, improve client experience and supporting innovative models of service delivery.
You will
- support the planning, growth and ongoing success of all co-op clinics;
- contribute to the development and management of budgets;
- ensure all clinics operate in accordance with university policy, legislative requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks; and
- develop, implement and continuously improve clinic policies, procedures and governance frameworks across all clinic disciplines.
About you Reporting to the Deputy Dean you will have demonstrated experience in operational and business management within a complex service environment, including planning, service development and improving performance. You will draw on your knowledge and experience in health services operations to identifying and develop opportunities that support service and business growth.
You will possess
- experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and resource allocation to support sustainable operations;
- ability to develop, implement and review policies, procedures, governance frameworks and systems;
- experience leading, managing and developing staff, fostering a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performing team culture;
- ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, and to develop partnerships that support organisational objectives; and
- highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and complex operational issues.
