The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to provide professional administrative, operational and business support across the Health Service on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Full or Part time opportunity).
In this role, you will work closely with managers and teams to coordinate administrative processes, support business planning and projects, maintain accurate records and systems, and contribute to reporting, quality improvement and organisational initiatives.
You will build positive relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders, helping to ensure effective communication, strong coordination and efficient service delivery. This is a varied prospect for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas, takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support and is motivated to contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential Criteria
- Experience in administration, business support or project support.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing reports, minutes and business documentation.
- High-level Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and record management skills.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including Aboriginal people and communities.
Desirable Criteria
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
- Experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO).

Home to approximately 2000 Yarnangu (Ngaanyatjarra people) across 11 unique communities, our council is dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich heritage spanning over 10,000 years and 250,000 square kilometres.
Established in 1981, the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group represents the interests of the Ngaanyatjarra People across the 11 communities in the Central Desert region of Western Australia. Employing in excess of 450 people, NCG provides a wide range of services, including health, utilities, construction, employment, community development, shops, roadhouses, art centres and land services. It is one of the largest and most successful Indigenous organisations in the country.
