IGA Dallas is seeking an experienced Butcher Service Assistant to join our busy meat department. This role suits someone with previous meat or supermarket service experience who can confidently serve customers and maintain high department standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers at the meat counter
- Filling and maintaining the poultry window
- Filling, rotating, and maintaining meat displays
- Assisting with basic meat handling and presentation
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment
- Following food safety, hygiene, and store procedures
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
About You
- Previous butcher service or supermarket meat department experience is essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Able to work in a quick-paced environment
- Available for a minimum of 3 days per week
- Availability for at least one weekend day is required
