Role Description
With the recent expansion of the business, we are seeking a CAD/ Sales Support Technician to help in house sales engineering/ workshop teams. You will be the key link between the sales office and workshop.
This is a part-time, in office role based in Dandenong South, VIC. This could potentially can become a permanent role for the right candidate
As a CAD/ Sales Support Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs to support the manufacturing and production teams. You will work closely with engineers,
workshop technicians and local and overseas suppliers to ensure designs meet quality standards and project requirements. Additionally, you may assist with design revisions, documentation, and QA/QC processes.
Your role also requires but not limited to assisting day-to-day tasks such as answering phone calls, taking and processing sales orders, liaising with customers and suppliers to provide technical advice on TEA products.
Previous experience as a parts supplier will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 2D/3D modelling software SolidWorks.
- Demonstrated ability in creating engineering drawings of complex mechanical components.
- Knowledge on engineering drawing principles including Weldments, GD&T.;
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy in design/drafting work.
- Familiarity or previous experience in manufacturing or engineering environments is highly advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications in CAD, Engineering Technology, Welding or a related field are preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and team members.
- Fresh graduates with extensive CAD exposure who willing to get hands on exposure in transport industry are also welcome.
