CAFÉ MANAGER – COMBI ELWOOD
Combi Elwood is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Café Manager to join our team.
We’re a busy, vibrant café in Elwood known for great food, quality coffee, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day operations and lead our team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
THE ROLE
As Café Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing the daily operations of the café
Leading, training and motivating the FOH team
Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service
Overseeing opening and closing procedures
Managing staff rosters and day-to-day staffing requirements
Maintaining food, coffee and service quality
Managing stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships
Ensuring cleanliness, presentation and food safety standards
Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
Helping drive sales and café performance
Working closely with the owners and kitchen team
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 2+ years of café/restaurant management experience
Is confident leading a team in a busy environment
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Is hands-on and happy to jump on the floor when needed
Has strong knowledge of coffee, food and hospitality
Can work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Has a positive, friendly and professional attitude
Takes pride in presentation, service and customer experience
Has a strong understanding of food safety and workplace standards
Barista skills are highly desirable.
