Cafe All-Rounder – Permanent Part-Time

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and friendly Cafe All-Rounder to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

This role offers stable hours of 20–35 hours per week, with shifts generally scheduled between 6:30am and 4:00pm. You’ll be part of a friendly, fast-paced café environment and have the opportunity to work across customer service, coffee making, food preparation, cleaning, and general café operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and serve customers in a warm and professional manner
- Take dine-in and takeaway orders efficiently
- Prepare quality coffee and other beverages
- Operate the POS system and process customer payments
- Assist with food preparation and presentation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Clear tables, wash dishes, clean work areas, and restock supplies
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties when required
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Provide excellent customer service during busy periods

About You
- Previous café or hospitality experience preferred.
- Barista experience or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and friendly personality
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexible availability, particularly on weekends and during peak periods
