Sprinkler Fitter / Fire Service Technician - Adelaide

Position
Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter / Fire Service Technician to join the Adelaide team.
This position will involve working across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas, carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, and minor upgrade works on wet fire systems.
Responsibilities will include:
- Testing, servicing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and pumpsets.
- Carrying out fault finding, repairs, and troubleshooting across wet fire systems.
- Minor installation and upgrade works as required.
- Completing compliance testing in line with Australian Standards.
- Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings.
- Completing service documentation and maintaining high safety standards on-site.
On Offer:
- $65 - $75 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a trade-qualified Sprinkler Fitter or licensed Plumber with strong fire industry experience . The business is seeking someone with a proactive attitude, strong technical ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include:
- Trade-qualified Sprinkler Fitter or Plumber with fire protection experience.
- Strong understanding of Australian fire standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage service-based work.
- Experience with hydrant and backflow testing highly regarded.
- Confined Space and EWP tickets advantageous.
- Relevant South Australian fire industry licences/tickets highly regarded.
