SpecialistTechnician Candidates - Technical Support toSchools Program Computer Network and Systems Engineer /Specialist Technician - TSSP/ Education Sector

Bytewize is seekinghighly experienced IT professionals to fill contract and ongoingemployment positions that are available within our company.Successful candidates will be employed by Bytewize to provideongoing technical support services to the Department of Education(Department) through the Technical Support to Schools ProgramTechnical Support to Schools Program (TSSP). Bytewize has been inbusiness for over 25 years and a long-standing panel member ofTSSP Program.

These are notentry-level positions, all candidates must have a minimum of 1 years’ industry experience, including previous experience withinthe TSSP program OR extensive experience within the educationsector OR equivalent corporate industry experience is essentialfor consideration.

The roles andresponsibilities consist of managing the IT infrastructure withinDepartment of Education schools. Administration of school networkand server infrastructure and providing ICT support services toboth the staff and students in large ICT based learningenvironments.

- Ability to manage andservice Windows and Apple devices on an enterprise scale
- Administration andsupport of Hyper-V virtualized server environments
- Administrationvarious Windows and Linux based servers
- Cloud based servicemanagement and administration (Google and MicrosoftServices)
- Mobile DeviceManagement administration and deployment
- High level enterprisenetwork administration skills required - Cisco and HP switches
- Administration ofCisco wireless network technologies, including wirelesscontrollers and access points
- Excellent languageand communication skills are essential for considerationof these roles
- Extensive experiencein SOE and image deployment,



including the ability toprovide advanced troubleshooting skills where required
- Previous industryexperience in an educational setting is essential unless youhave high levels of industry experience in a similar scaleenterprise level corporate workplace
- Extensive knowledgeand experience in Department and TSSPinitiativeswill be highly regarded
- Extensive experiencewith planning, deployment & management of 1:1 and BYODdevices in an enterprise scale environment will be very highlyregarded
- Ability to plan andrun ICT professional development sessions and workcollaboratively with the schools’ stakeholder ICTmanagement when required
- Technicaldocumentation writing skills

Remuneration andPayment

- Pay rate is dependenton the candidate’s skill set and level of relevant industryexperience
- Reviewson staffpay rates based on performance
- Top pay ratesguaranteed to all candidates with a total salary package in therange of $70,000-$110,000per year
