About the Role

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Melbourne Southeast team, supporting participants across Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Knox, Maroondah and surrounding suburbs .

This is a mobile, community-based role , working with participants across their homes, schools, community and via telehealth. Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live, helping to keep travel practical and giving you genuine autonomy over your working week.

You'll join an experienced multidisciplinary team across OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology and Behaviour Support , many of whom have worked together for 3+ years and have strong working relationships around shared clients.

The team already has strong paediatric experience, including an experienced paediatric OT Team Lead, and we'd particularly welcome an OT interested in working across the lifespan and bringing additional experience and interests to the team.

What You'll Be Doing

- Deliver person-centred OT across home, school, community and telehealth settings
- Complete functional assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
- Support a diverse NDIS caseload, with many participants presenting with neurodivergence and disability
- Work across areas such as capacity building,

assistive technology and functional independence depending on your experience and interests
- Collaborate with families, support networks and your multidisciplinary colleagues
- Work autonomously while staying connected through regular MDT discussions, supervision and team catch-ups

Why Join This Team?

- Flexible mobile working with autonomy to structure your day
- Localised caseloads across Melbourne's South East and Outer South East
- Support from an experienced paediatric OT Team Lead
- An experienced, knowledgeable and client-focused multidisciplinary team
- Strong MDT collaboration across OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology and Behaviour Support
- Monthly face-to-face team meetings, usually around Narre Warren, plus virtual connection
- Regular clinical supervision and opportunities for shadowing and peer learning
- Achievable KPIs designed to support sustainable workloads and work-life balance
- A team that values connection and collaboration while giving you the independence to manage your own week

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility
- A neuroaffirming, person-centred approach to practice
- Confidence working autonomously while knowing when to connect with your team
- Interest or experience working across the lifespan is highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle - this is a mobile community role

If you're an OT looking for flexibility, autonomy and an experienced multidisciplinary team to collaborate with when you need them, we'd love to hear from you.
