About the Role
As a Field Consultant, you'll be the face of TAPS for many of our apprentices, and host employers.
You'll build strong relationships across industry, support apprentices throughout their employment journey and work closely with employers to create and maintain quality apprenticeship opportunities.
This role combines relationship management, business development and workforce development. You'll spend much of your time in the field meeting with employers and apprentices, identifying opportunities, resolving issues and helping achieve successful outcomes for everyone involved.
You'll also play an important role in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new apprentices and trainees, helping match people with meaningful career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with apprentices, trainees and host employers.
- Conduct workplace visits and apprentice check-ins.
- Support apprentices and trainees throughout their employment and training journey.
- Identify and resolve workplace issues and barriers to success.
- Recruit, interview and onboard new apprentices and trainees.
- Develop new host employer opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships.
- Promote and monitor protected work practices.
- Liaise with training organisations and key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and meet compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the broader TAPS team to achieve positive outcomes and business objectives.

- Has strong computer and administrative skills.
- Holds a current driver's licence.
