The Opportunity
As the Operational Technology Officer in the City of Perth, Playa vital role in keeping the City running safely and smartly as theOperational Technology Support Officer, supporting critical systemsincluding CCTV, carparks, building management and lightingcontrols.
Reporting to the Senior Operational Technology Coordinatorwithin our ICT team, your responsibilities would primarilyinclude:
- Keep critical technology running bytriaging and resolving faults across CCTV, carparks, lightingand building management systems.
- Improve system reliability by identifyingrecurring issues, tracking faults and supporting continuousimprovement.
- Coordinate contractors and projects toensure quality, value for money and timely delivery.
- Support the future of the City’stechnology through technical documentation, systemrenewals and procurement.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Technical knowledge across buildingmanagement, lighting control, networking and fibreinfrastructure.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solvingskills with the ability to work independently andcollaboratively.
- A sound understanding of cybersecurity principles and technical documentation.

Eligibility
To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:

- Technical knowledge across buildingmanagement, lighting control, networking and fibreinfrastructure.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solvingskills with the ability to work independently andcollaboratively.
- A sound understanding of cybersecurity principles and technical documentation.
