Position Details
Kearnan College is a vibrant PK–12 school of 300 students nestled in the picturesque town of Manjimup, approximately 300km south of Perth. Our new English/HASS teacher will be a team-oriented and contributing team member and an engaging educator who will develop respectful relationships with students and other staff members.
This is an ongoing position and could involve teaching any year level from Years 7 to 12.
The ability to teach Religious Education would be an advantage, but not essential. If there are other learning areas you are able to teach, please include these in your cover letter.
Selection Criteria
- The ability to deliver teaching and learning programs that are student-driven, data-informed and challenge all learners.
- A deep understanding of the English and HASS content areas and current pedagogical practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both adults and students.
- Skills to contribute to and promote a strong staff culture and to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the College.
Qualifications Required
Relevant 4-year tertiary qualification and TRBWA registration.
