About the role

Hornsby Prestige Smash Repairs is seeking an experienced Car Detailer & All Rounder to join our team in Hornsby, NSW. This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic automotive trades setting. As a Car Detailer & All Rounder, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional detailing services and providing versatile support across our repair and maintenance operations.

What you'll be doing

- Perform comprehensive car detailing services, including exterior and interior cleaning, polishing, waxing and protective treatments
- Prepare vehicles for delivery to clients, ensuring they meet our high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with pre and post-repair vehicle inspections and documentation
- Support the workshop team with general maintenance tasks and vehicle preparation work
- Maintain detailed records of detailing services completed and any issues identified
- Operate and maintain detailing equipment and cleaning supplies responsibly
- Contribute to workshop organisation and cleanliness standards
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients regarding their vehicles
- Perform additional workshop duties as required to support the broader team

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in car detailing or vehicle preparation within an automotive workplace
- Sound knowledge of detailing techniques, products and equipment used in the automotive industry
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently




- Ability to work flexibly and support various tasks across the workshop (all-rounder capability)
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks throughout the day
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work
- A current driver's licence
- Preferred: Previous experience in smash repair facilities or broader automotive trades
- Preferred: Knowledge of vehicle damage assessment and repair processes
